ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Staying within the Land of Enchantment for the first and only time during outdoor competition, NM State participated in the Don Kirby Tailwind Twilight, hosted by the University of New Mexico. Following an early morning session for the men's and women's 10,000m, the rest of the competition began at 5:30 p.m., as the Aggies faced a windy night of action.
The throws team led the way in the Duke City, with five top-three finishes among the group in a trio of events. As well, Aileen Alvarado took the top spot in the high jump, her second event win in Crimson & White this season.
