DENVER – Kristen Cline was named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Golfer of the Week on Wednesday. The senior led the Aggies to a sixth place finish against strong competition in Peoria, Ariz. at the Westbrook Spring Invitational.
The Aggie senior, Kristen Cline, played her best golf of the season and finished in 6th in a field of 76 individuals at the Westbrook Spring Invitational with totals of 67-78-69--214 (-2). The impressive play featured 10 birdies on a challenging par-72 course.
This was the second top-10 and fifth top-25 finish of the year for Cline as she posted season-best scores on both 18 and 54-hole rounds.
