LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Western Athletic Conference announced the All-WAC honors on Wednesday. The Aggies earned seven accolades, including Kelsey Horton as the WAC Player of the Year. This is the fifth-straight year NM State has taken home the Player of the Year award.

Horton headlined the player awards, earning WAC Player of the Year for the first time in her career. She broke the conference records for batting average (.558) and slugging percentage (1.258) and tied the record for home runs per game (0.60) in league play. Horton led the WAC this season in on-base percentage (.
