LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Keith Jones II was named one of 68 collegiate baseball players on the Dick Howser Trophy Semifinalist by the NCBWA. The Dick Howser Trophy is awarded to the nation's top player of the year.
Jones is the fifth Aggie to be named a Dick Howser Trophy Semifinalist, following the likes of Joey Ortiz, Nick Gonzales, Ryan Kenning and Billy Becher. Jones is one of the 13 outfielders listed on the list. He is also one of five players from the Conference USA to be listed as a semifinalist.
Jones is currently leading the conference in home runs, on-base percentage, runs, RBIs and slugging percentage.
