DENVER, Colo. –New Mexico State sophomore Rimpledeep Kaur was named the Western Athletic Conference women's tennis player of the week on Tuesday by the conference. Kaur led the Aggies to a 3-0 weekend in Phoenix, Ariz., that included a pair of conference victories.
This is the first weekly honor for Kaur this season and the second for New Mexico State.
She has now won five of her last six singles matches and two of her last three doubles contests in leading NM State to a 2-0 start in WAC play. Kaur also paces NM State in dual play with a 6-3 mark in singles.
