DENVER – Junior Daniel Johnson has been named the Western Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week for Feb. 15-21, the conference announced on Monday morning.
Johnson, a native of Vallejo, Calif., hit .600 during the on the weekend, as the Aggies started the 2016 campaign off 3-0 with a series sweep over Towson. His best game of the weekend came in the middle game of the series hitting two home runs, scoring three runs and earning five RBI.
