LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia has announced Jake Angier as the 12th head baseball coach in Aggie history Monday morning. A formal introductory press conference is schedule to take place on Tuesday, June 20, at 3:00 p.m. (MT) on the third floor of the Stan Fulton Athletic Center in the Danny Villanueva Victory Club.
A native of Bellevue, Wash., Angier capped off a four-year stint at the University of Oregon with three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including a trip to the 2023 Super Regionals. Finishing with 41 wins in 2023, the Ducks posted the fourth-winningest season in program history.
