Harada’s Hot Start, Thomas’ Strong Finish Highlight Opening Day at Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State men's golf team is in sole possession of second place at seven-over-par 575 after two rounds of play at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate.

The Aggies are 11 strokes off the leader, Wichita State (565, -4), entering tomorrow's third and final round at NM State Golf Course.

Senior Ryo Harada, playing as an individual, is in the mix for the individual title, as he sits alone in second place at three-under-par 139. He fired an opening-round score of six-under-par 65, matching the best round of his collegiate career, to begin the day.
