ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico State baseball team traveled to Santa Ana Star Field for the first installment of the Battle of I-25 against in-state rival New Mexico on Tuesday night. A two-out rally in the second inning gave the Aggies a large lead that led to a 9-1 victory over the Lobos. The win marked the 100 career victory during head coach 's tenure at NM State.
Following the milestone victory Green commented, "Getting 100 wins is a monumental thing and doing it against the Lobos is even more special. We have sputtered a bit on the road but the way we played tonight got us our fourth win in a row away from home.
