LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State football running back Christian Gibson will have an opportunity to showcase his talents in front of NFL scouts, player personnel staff, general managers and head coaches.
The draft-eligible redshirt senior has accepted an invitation to the SPIRAL Tropical Bowl. The contest is scheduled for Jan. 12, 2020, at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand, Fla., and will be televised on FloFootball.
Gibson appeared in 39 contests in his time at NM State, rushing for 1,080 yards (5.4 avg.) and nine touchdowns in his career. He led the Aggies in rushing yards in 2018 with 590 and averaged a team-best 6.
