Day One Results DOUBLES
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Chloe Gavino and Lisa Zhu each won singles matches during the NM State women's tennis team's opening day of competition at the New Mexico Halloween Howl event Friday at the McKinnon Family Tennis Stadium.
• In their first doubles action of the event, the Aggies were pitted against Mountain West foe Colorado State.
• Unfortunately, only one Aggies was able to walk away with a win in tandem play. Hoping to continue their strong play, Harsha Challa and Zhu found themselves on the wrong end of a narrow 7-6 (7-5) decision to the Rams' tandem of Radka Buzkova and Matea Mihaljevic.
