NEW ORLEANS – The NM State football team will kick off its Sun Belt Conference opener at Troy on September 24 at 5 p.m. MT on ESPN3, the league office announced Monday. The game will also be carried on the Aggies' flagship station KXPZ 99.5 FM in Las Cruces.
Prior to facing the Trojans, the Aggies will travel to Kentucky for their final non-conference matchup before league play begins. The team is coming off a 32-31 victory over Battle of I-25 rival New Mexico. This was the first time NM State has defeated the Lobos since 2011.
