DENVER, Colo. – New Mexico State women's soccer sophomore forward Aileen Galicia was named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday by the conference after firing in her first career hat trick.
This is the first weekly honor for NM State in 2016 and the first since Rian Nials was named defensive player of the week on Sept. 28 last season. She's also the first player in the WAC to record a hat trick this season.
Galicia's hat trick was just the second one in program history.
