LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State Football played host to Tulsa on Saturday in a head-to-head matchup of 1-0 squads. The Aggies came back and took down the Golden Hurricane by a score of 21-14, earning their first 2-0 start in over a decade. Logan Fife led the way with 276 total yards and two passing touchdowns, while the defense came away with crucial turnovers at the end of each half. Jamall Thompson Jr. corralled a late interception that all but sealed the win for the Crimson & White.
The NM State defense picked up right where it left off last week, as each of Tulsa's first two offensive possessions ended in a turnover on downs.
