Las Cruces, N.M. – There could not have been a better way to kick off the 2022 Cross Country season than a sunrise meet at the beautiful NM State Golf Course. The conditions were perfect with a 70 degree start temperature, and a golden sunrise coming from over the mountains.
Only four schools made the trip to complete today, so there really isn't a focus on the overall team results, but rather individual marks in order to tune up for the rest of the season.
The women's race kicked off right at 7:30 a.m. and lasted about twenty minutes.
