Former Aggie Siakam Named to All-NBA Second Team

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Add another accolade to the NBA résumé of former NM State Aggie Pascal Siakam.

Wednesday afternoon in an announcement made by the league, Siakam was named to the All-NBA Second Team. With the news, Siakam is the first NM State men's basketball player in program history to earn All-NBA honors.

A star for the Toronto Raptors, Siakam averaged 22.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.0 steals while playing 35.2 minutes per game in 2019-20. Among all NBA players, Siakam's scoring average was the 17th-best in the league and he was one of only nine players to averaged at least 22 points and seven rebounds per game.
