NEW CASTLE, Ind. – Former New Mexico State women's basketball player Meridith (Sanders) Barone was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame as parts of its 18th women's induction class, the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame announced Tuesday.
"We want to give a huge congratulations to Meridith, your Aggie family is beyond proud of you," said head coach Brooke Atkinson. "This honor really demonstrates the quality of the student-athletes and coaches that have come before us. We have a proud tradition as a university and as a basketball program and honors like this help cement that legacy.
