ALBUQUERQUE - A pair of all-time New Mexico State men's basketball greats - Jimmy Collins and Rob Evans - learned recently they are two of the seven latest inductees into the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame. That duo, along with Alan Branch, Holly Holm, Nick Pino, Danny Romero and Carolyn Thompson will officially be inducted during the organization's 47th annual Hall of Fame banquet which takes place on Sunday, April 5 at the Albuquerque Convention Center.
"There has been a significant increase in Aggie greats being inducted into the New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame in recent years and I would like to thank Marty and the committee for recognizing Jimmy and Rob," commented NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccis.
