DENVER - Kayli Farmer was named the Western Athletic Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time this season the league announced on Tuesday.
Farmer won the javelin at the Bobcat Invitational with a mark of 43.72m (143-5). She also competed in the high jump, finishing fourth with a mark of 1.65m (5-5). Earlier in the week, she competed at the Texas Relays, placing tenth of fourteen in the javelin with a throw of 39.98m (131-2).
New Mexico State travels to Waco, Texas, to face competition at the Baylor Invite on Saturday, April 8.
