TYLER, Texas – Following a historical day against Middle Tennessee, wide receiver TK King has been named to the honorable mention list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Player of the Week Award. The award recognizes student-athletes that either graduated from a Texas high school or play at a Texas DI four-year college.
King, a native of Houston, turned it the best performance of his collegiate career on Saturday against the Blue Raiders. The graduate of Alief Taylor High School finished the day with a career-high in receptions (10), receiving yards (178) and receiving touchdowns (2).
