LAS CRUCES, N.M.- Sage Doxtater remains one of the Canadian Football League's top draft prospects.
The New Mexico State offensive lineman is ranked eighth overall in the CFL Scouting Bureau's second edition of the top-20 prospects eligible for the 2021 CFL Draft. The list was released on Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Doxtater is the third-ranked offensive lineman, behind only top-ranked overall prospect Alaric Jackson (Iowa) and seventh-ranked overall prospect Liam Dobson (Maine).
The CFL Scouting Bureau, comprised of CFL scouts, as well as player personnel directors and general managers from the league's nine clubs, releases its rankings three times each year: in the fall, winter and spring.
