Dieter's Two Homer Help Aggies Bash Their Way Past Texans, 17-6

STEPHENVILLE, Texas - For the first time in over a month, the NM State baseball team is the owner of a winning streak.

The way the Aggies made it possible was quite impressive.

Brandon Dieter smashed a pair of home runs - including a ninth-inning grand slam - the Aggies amassed five long balls as part of a 15-hit assault on Tarleton pitching and that allowed NM State to cruise to a 17-6 victory over the Texans Sunday afternoon at the Cecil Ballow Complex.

NM State won its final two games of the four-game WAC set between it and Tarleton, marking the first time the Aggies have won consecutive contests since March 20-21.
