LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's tennis team completed day two at the Bedford Cup on Saturday hosted by Air Force Academy.
NM State's team of Louis Menard and Jordy Visser fell in their first doubles match of the day, falling to Northern Colorado's team 6-3. Martin Simecek and Luis Flores fell to Denver's team 6-3 in the consolation semifinals while Nicolas Buitrago and Timothee Curnier lost to Abilene Christian's team 6-4.
Menard won the first set, but was challenged by Air Forces' Paul Hendrix and couldn't get over the hump in the third set – falling 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 in the Blue singles draw.
