SALT LAKE CITY – NM State suited up once more in the 2025 cross country season, heading out to Salt Lake City for the 2025 NCAA Mountain Regional, hosted by the University of Utah. Facing stiff competition in the region, NM State tallied strong performances built on a solid showing at the CUSA Cross Country Championships.
Kicking off the day with the women's 6k, Second Team All-CUSA selection Valeria Macias Casas paced the Aggies for the first time this season, steadily climbing during the duration of the race to post a time of 22:22.
