PHOENIX – For the second time in as many games, junior Austin Botello hit a go ahead home run to give the Aggies the win over Grand Canyon. The Aggies have now won their first three conference series for the first time since at least 2004, with the 4-3 win on Saturday.
The Aggies got on the board first in the second inning as Trey Stine led off with a double up the middle. Mason Fishback reached on a fielder's choice that saw Stine beat a tag at third on a throw from the shortstop.
