DENVER – New Mexico State men's basketball guard Zach Lofton was named the Western Athletic Conference Player of the Week on Monday by the league after averaging 24 points and 8.0 rebounds last week.
The St. Paul, Minn., product started the week with a huge offensive night against Colorado State – which gave NM State its second-straight win over a Mountain West Conference opponent in as many games. Lofton scorched the Rams with a season-high 30 points on 12-of-15 shooting with eight rebounds.
Zach Lofton can go. What an addition for New Mexico State.
