Box Score SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif.– Aaliyah Prince scored at least 20 points for the second-straight game but the New Mexico State women's basketball team fell 70-60 on the road at Cal Poly on Thursday night.
Both teams started out slow with the first bucket coming from Cal Poly (1-1, 0-0 Big West) at the 8:13 mark. After six-straight points from Prince, the Aggies took a 6-5 lead which would be the Aggies (1-3, 0-0) last lead of the quarter and they trailed the Mustangs 21-15 after one.
The two teams duked it out in the second quarter, trading buckets the entire time.
