ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico State women’s basketball team will make its second straight trip to the NCAA Tournament.
The Aggies were named the 15th seed in the Sioux Falls region and will visit No. 2 seed Arizona State on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
NMSU (26-4) is led in scoring by senior guard Sasha Weber (12.3 points a game) and Moriah Mack (11.7). They have won the WAC tournament title two straight seasons. The Aggies last made back-to-back NCAA appearances in 1987-88.
The Sun Devils (25-6) were the regular-season co-champions of the Pac-12.
