TEMPE, Ariz. – The New Mexico State softball team began its second day at the Devil Classic with a contest against Coastal Carolina at Farrington Stadium. The Aggies topped the Chanticleers 11-2 with a trio of Aggies hitting home runs.
Analise De La Roca earned the start in the circle for NM State (10-6) and struggled in the first when she gave up a double and a single to score the first run of the game. After giving up another single to Coastal Carolina (12-7), the freshman settled in the circle, striking out her final batter of the inning.
