LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The future schedule of New Mexico State football begins to take shape with the announcement of a home-and-home series with the University of Wyoming, beginning in 2018 at home to open its season on Aug. 25 as an independent FBS team during zero week.

The Aggies will then travel to Laramie, Wyo., on Sept. 21, 2024, for its return trip against the Cowboys.

The 2018 meeting between New Mexico State and Wyoming will just be the second time the two programs have faced off against one another on the gridiron. The only meeting between the Aggies and Cowboys came in 1953, which was in favor of Wyoming 47-0.
