TUCSON, Ariz. – New Mexico State volleyball swept UT Martin at the McKale Center in the team's Wildcat Classic finale on Saturday. The Aggies defeated the Skyhawks 25-14, 25-12, 27-25 for the tournament victory.
"We played pretty efficiently today. I thought we served the ball pretty well in stretches, which was great," head coach Mike Jordan said. "We played good team defense and gave ourselves extra opportunities to score in transition. Overall, going 2-1 this weekend is not bad for this team. As young as we are to be 10-3, I'm fairly happy with that.
