LAS CRUCES, N.M. – New Mexico State (17-4, 7-0 WAC) came away with a 25-19, 25-19, 25-20 sweep over Chicago State (3-18, 1-6 WAC) on Saturday to close out the four-match homestand and the first part of the Western Athletic Conference schedule.
"I am pleased for the most part with how we played today," said head coach Mike Jordan. "I don't know if we are capable of hitting for a big percentage very often, because of how error prone we are. Our kill numbers are good, and we played pretty good defense most of the time.
