LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's golf team will begin its 2017 spring season competing in the Peg Barnard Invitational, Feb. 11-12, at the Stanford Golf Club in Stanford, Calif.
Looking forward to strong competition at the invitational, coach Danny Bowen commented, "Stanford always hosts a first class event. So we feel privileged to be given the opportunity to come out and play strong with other elite competition. Practices have gone well the past few weeks, so we'll be able to gauge where we're at in comparison to the number one team in the nation (Stanford), as well as the rest of the field.
