MIAMI – Playing in quarterfinal action at the 2024 CUSA Women's Tennis Championships at the FIU Tennis Courts on Friday morning, the Aggies took on second-seeded Liberty, falling 4-0.
Starting the morning with doubles play, the Lady Flames got out to a hot start, securing wins on courts one and two. The NM State duo of Valeriia Ivanovskaia and Natsuki Nisihimura were able to tally a pair of points before ultimately falling by a score of 6-2.
In singles play, Lisa Zhu held control of her matchup in the #3 spot with Liberty's Esther Lovato, though the match would go unfinished.
