ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico State women's track and field team took on stellar competition during the first day of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational. Keyarha Wilson's second place finish in the high jump highlighted the first day for the team at the ABQ Convention Center on Friday.
"We had some execution errors today but it wasn't because of a lack of effort," head coach Doug Reynolds said. "Our team competed hard, which is what I asked them to do. We make some mistakes but it is only going to make us better in the long run.
