TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State women's golf team wrapped up the Wildcat Invitational with its best round of the tournament, 298 (+10) to finish 13th at the two-day tournament.
"We came out the gates more determined and ready to play today," said head coach Danny Bowen. "However. we didn't take advantage of the scoring opportunities. Attitudes were good all day even though we weren't playing our best golf. Throughout the two-week trip, we've identified areas that we need to improve for the remainder of the season. Looking forward to using our two and a half weeks to get better for our next event in Phoenix.
