HOUSTON – The New Mexico State swimming and diving team opened the Western Athletic Conference Championships on Wednesday at the CRWC Natatorium.
Through three events, the Aggies currently sit in third with 83 points on the women's side and trails three-time defending champion Northern Arizona (120) and Idaho (100).
NM State's 200 yard medley relay team of , , and Johanna Pettersson took fifth, clocking in with a time of 1:42.12 while North Dakota took home the crown with a mark of 1:40.51. , and Lilly Araujo claimed sixth in the 800 yard freestyle relay, finishing in 7.
