PHILADELPHIA and EL PASO, Texas – Sophomore Kayli Farmer won a silver medal in the Javelin Throw at the prestigious Penn Relay Carnival on Friday. The Aggies also had 11 top-3 finishes at the UTEP Invitation on Saturday.
"We are extremely proud of our athletes that competed in the Penn Relays," said assistant coach Larry Carmichael. "We are very fortunate to have had six people accepted to compete in such a well-known meet. We are especially proud of Kayli for her spectacular performance in the Javelin. We are also proud of how the rest of our team competed in the UTEP meet, with several people maintaining or improving their performances.
