CHICAGO, Ill. – Solid night at the free-throw line and 20-points from Tamera William saw NM State clip Chicago State on the road, 70-60, and move to 4-0 in Western Athletic Conference play on Saturday at the Jones Convocation Center.
William was huge for the Aggies in the final five minutes of play, going 8-for-8 from the charity stripe. The 20-points tied the junior's career-high, which she set back in December against Arizona (Dec. 2, 2015).
"Tamera was key for us today against an aggressive Chicago State team," head coach Mark Trakh said.
