EL PASO, Texas - The NM State soccer squad (3-6) came up just short against UTRGV (5-3-2) in a 2-1 loss Thursday night at University Field in El Paso, Texas.
The two teams were deadlocked throughout the first 44 minutes with the Aggies keeping the ball in its attack zone for the majority of the time. The Vaqueros were able to strike first in the 44th minute to take a 1-0 lead into the break.
The Aggies would not go down quietly, as sophomore made some shifty moves in the box to get her fourth goal of the year in the 63rd minute.
