LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State men's golf team completed the first day of competition at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate on Monday. Through 36 holes, the Aggies shot a 561 (-7) which puts the team in first with one round remaining.
Team play on day one saw four Aggie finish in the top-15. This was led by Michael McGilton who fired a five-under, 137, to sit in second after two rounds of competition. Tadhg Campbell was right behind with a 67-72—139 (-3) to tie for third.
