LAS CRUCES, N.M. - For the first time since 1947, a former Minnesota head coach makes the trip back to Minneapolis to take on the Golden Gophers. That man is none other than NM State head football coach Jerry Kill. A former Big Ten Coach of the Year at Minnesota, Kill makes his return to the Twin Cities on Thursday night after seven years away from the program.
