TULSA, Okla. – The NM State women's golf program closed out play at the loaded Dale McNamara Invitational hosted by Tulsa at the Golf Course of Oklahoma Tuesday.
Led by sophomore Alison Gastelum, the Aggies finished seventh overall, ahead of nationally-ranked Tulsa, SMU, UTSA, Texas State and Kansas State. NM State finished at +35 overall.
After firing rounds of 75 and 74 to open the tournament, Gastelum rebounded with a final round 71. The Mexico native finished tied for 16th overall.
Other strong performances included Amelia McKee and Alex Quihuis finishing tied for 26th at +8 overall.
