TUCSON, Ariz. – The New Mexico State men's golf team completed the National Invitational Tournament on the OMNI Tucson National Course in Tucson, Ariz. on Tuesday. After 54 holes of play, the Aggies finished with a score of 879 (+15), as they finished in 13th place in the 16-team tournament.
Las Cruces native Isaac Merry led the way for the team as his totals of 71-69-74—214 (-2) put him in a tie for 18th. The junior led the Aggies with 14 birdies and one eagle during the tournament.
Jack Snyder fired rounds of 73-70-76 for a grand total of 219 (+3) as the freshman tied for 43rd.
