LAS CRUCES, N.M. — The Aggies (1-6-0) held Texas Tech scoreless for more than an hour but couldn't hold off a late surge, falling 2-0 Thursday night at the Soccer Athletic Complex.
NM State battled through the Red Raiders' pressure, limiting the visitors to 11 first-half shots while keeping the match level at the break. Goalkeeper continued her strong season between the posts, making seven saves to mark her seventh straight match with at least three stops.
Texas Tech finally broke through in the 70th minute and doubled the lead six minutes later to secure the result.
