Aggies fall late to Wyoming 62-59

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State Aggies made a 20-5 run over 10 of the last 12 minutes of the game to overcome a 15-point deficit, but the Wyoming Cowboys answered with a key 3-pointer to snap the run as Wyoming claimed a 62-59 win Sunday at the Pan American Center.

The Aggies (5-4) had tied the game at 53-all with 1:54 to play when Pascal Siakam hit a pair of free throws. The Cowboys (6-4) answered on the next possession as Josh Adams buried the deep 3-pointer with the shot clock under six seconds to take a 56-53 lead.
