SEATTLE – The NM State softball team fell to Seattle U 6-2 in their series opener on Friday. New Mexico State was unable to finish the second game of the doubleheader as play was suspended due to poor weather.
Game One
After a scoreless first inning, NM State (15-17, 3-1) went on the attack with Kelsey Horton hitting a double to center field to start the second inning. Horton advanced to third on a ground ball by Caity Szczesny and was brought home by Amy Bergeson.
