RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The New Mexico State women's basketball team fell 94-53 at California Baptist in a WAC matchup on Friday afternoon.
NM State falls to 1-2 in WAC play while the Lancers move to 7-0. California Baptist made eight three-pointers in the first quarter and never looked back, finishing one shy of the WAC record with 17 made threes.
Tayelin Grays and Rodrea Echols each scored 11 points while freshman Taylor Donaldson added a career-high six points. Shania Harper nearly recorded a double-double with eight points and nine rebounds.
