Aggies Fall in a Pair of One-Run Games to Open I-35 Classic

Box Score 1 SAN MARCOS, Texas – Coming off a weekend in which it scored a combined 30 runs across four games, the Aggies (3-3) were only able to plate three runs in 14 innings of action to kick off their weekend of competition in the I-35 classic.

In the opener, Aydenne Brown struck out 10 batters and held Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4-2) scoreless through 6.1 innings, however, the Aggies' lack of offensive production allowed the Islanders to steal a 1-0 win.

Later, NM State was unable to maintain a two-run lead as South Dakota State (6-2) rallied from behind to walk off the Aggies - earning a 3-2 victory.
