LAS CRUCES, N.M. – After a dominant win on Saturday over Western New Mexico, NM State face much tougher competition on Friday afternoon at the NM State Tennis Center. The Aggies proved to be up to the task as they defeated Weber State 5-2 to move to 2-0 on the season.
Despite Weber State earning the win at the No. 1 spot in doubles play, NM State fought hard to earn wins on courts two and three to clinch the doubles point. and partnered to tally a 6-3 win over Sicely Ferreira and Dylan Lolofie. With the win, Ivanovskaia and Zhu move to 2-0 alongside each other this season.
